Miguel Aguilar, owner of Miguel Aguilar Custom Saddles, is the designer, maker, and sponsor of the Congress Queen coveted crown and custom saddle. Miguel has been a long time supporter and sponsor of the Congress Queen Contest. Miguel donated his first saddle to the competition in 2022 and it was a beauitful work saddle with the fitting words of "From Princess, To Queen" on the skirt of the saddle. From there, Miguel wanted to make this a tradition and add to it by not only donating a custom saddle to the Congress Queen each year, but also designing her coveted Congress Queen Crown after the previous maker retired. Since then, Miguel's incredible craft, talent, and generosity has been on display for everyone to see as the crown is a part of our Queen's daily ensemble and the saddle that she can cherish for the years after her reign. We are so grateful for his enthusiastic support of all our queens and generous contributions to the prestige of the title of the All American Quarter Horse Congress Queen.
